عن المؤلف
Writer Donald McCaig was specially authorized by Margaret Michell's trustees to write a new novel based on Gone With The Wind. The author, born in 1940, worked on "Rhett" for twelve years after extensive research on original locations and in historical archives. He has received several awards for his other novels about the American Civil War, including the John Esten Cooke Award for Best Southern Literature.
