Kayla Cappiello has three dietary restrictions.Diagnosed with celiac disease, a lactose intolerance, and a nut allergy, she found a creative outlet in navigating her way through every day recipes and adjusting them to fit her dietary needs. She learned to use this process not only as a way to find inner peace and to accept her body's restrictions, but also as a way to connect with others over what our bodies need mostfood. Navigating food can be hard. Kayla likes to keep her recipes fun, bright, and approachablejust like her! She is laid back, enjoys reading a good book, and also appreciates a good cocktail and cooking. She lives just outside New York City with her fiance and their dog, Beans.
