About the Author
James Steen is an award-winning writer whose latest book is The Foodie (published in hardback as The Kitchen Magpie).
He collaborates often with well-known chefs, and is co-author of the autobiography of Marco Pierre White, The Devil in the Kitchen. He also co-authored Raymond Blanc's acclaimed autobiography, A Taste of My Life, and collaborated on Keith Floyd's final memoir, Stirred But Not Shaken (BBC Radio 4's 'Book of the Week'). Steen has contributed to many other books, including White Heat 25, Marco Made Easy and Kitchen Secrets. He is based in London.
