About the Author: Lucy Andreasen Wood qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1984. She is currently a researcher at the Institute of Psychology in England. Binta Rae Smith has been a speech and language therapist since 1958. She has taught students at a university in England since 1971. Binta and Lucy have both taught speech pathology at a university in England. They have also been tutors on distance learning courses specialising in speech and language difficulties.
