Chicco Essential Digital Video Monitor helps you keep an eye on your little one as they sleep and rest. The essential monitor uses cutting edge technology so you can stay in constant contact with your little day or night.
The hand held parent unit houses a 2.4 inch LCD screen that displays the picture being recorded from the camera as well as the signal strength and battery life. The parent unit also has a large up front speaker that allows you to hear everything that happens within your babies room and operates with the voice activation sensor on the camera to alert you when your baby needs attention.
The camera itself has a large view lens that is surrounded by Infra-Red LED's allowing the camera to continue working just as effectively in the dark, there is also a nightlight built in with two different intensities that can be turned on from the camera or remotely using the parent unit. Both the parent unit and the camera have microphones that allow you to communicate with your baby and help soothe them when they stir through the night.
The system as a whole has a maximum range of 150 meters line of sight and uses and interference free signal for consistent monitoring, the parent unit has a rechargeable lithium battery that allows you to view your little one while on the go in the home.
