Function --- Minimum and maximum readings of the currently selected function are continuously recorded. No disassembly, no wiring, no contact, the probe is close to the high‑voltage line to directly detect the ignition signal. Measure the ignition time (MS) and ignition voltage of the ignition signal. Measure the engine speed (RPM). Calibration function (only applicable to cop mode).
Secondary Function --- User is required to calibrate the instrument to measure sparks in the coil on the plug and in the ignition system of the coil near the plug. This calibration uses the measurement values obtained during the process to find the best measurement parameters or a specific type of ignition module, and to compensate for differences in waveform and signal strength.
Precise Design --- To display the minimum and maximum readings of the main display, if it has not been selected, short press the accessibility/capture button. To reset the minimum and maximum readings, short press the power on/off/reset button. These values are also static when they become 0.
Excellent Performance --- Once calibration is performed on one of the ignition modules of the engine being diagnosed, all subsequent spark measurements will be related to the calibration value. Accurate measurement, stable structure, strong durability, long life.
Please Note --- In some engines, the ignition modules placed too close together may cause the MST1000 induction probe to receive signals from nearby modules, resulting in incorrect readings. To reduce interference from other ignition modules, cover nearby ignition modules completely with aluminum foil. But make sure the aluminum foil in the engine is electrically grounded.
